This article is about planning in the upcoming years for SW Portland. This explains how in the past twenty years the planning process of west Portland hasn't changed much. It prioritizes cars rather than the people. It states how roads lack safe cross walks and sometimes even sidewalks all together. With West Portland becoming such a happening area, this article calls for change and and diversifying this area. This article also calls for community involvement, from going door to door to see what it is people are wanting and what they are needing. It calls for reaching out tot hose who are least listened too, renters, low income and people of color.
