The last two lessons has been very informative to me. I have been exposed to these teaching methods and techniques i never knew before. teaching EFL has definitely changed and developed in the past few years. students understand the meaning of our world became a smaller place, globalization is all around us and we have to adjust to it with learning English.
as an Israeli who learned English in the Israeli system, i knew from a very young age that English matter. if i wish to succeed and travel the world i will have to learn and embrace this language. and so i did! teaching EFL today, includes high skills of speaking, reading and listening. in order to help our future pupils we will have to give them this language as a way of life. turn it into something they can find interesting and motivating. as the years go by, students realize the importance of having strong English skills if they wish to move forward in our world.
