         <description><![CDATA[<p>To Madison, the institution of the faction is one of, if not the, largest threat to a stable government based in popular sovereignty.</p><p><br/></p><p>In his time, most divisions fell along state lines; north vs south on slavery, established states/the frontier, religious differences, etc.</p><p><br/></p><p>In an America where each coast is a 5 hour plane ride away and we are more divided by race, ideology, creed, etc, should the system be reformed to reflect new factions?</p>]]></description>
