Consequences can be given to students that are playing games during instruction time. We also had a program on the chrome books that monitored their usage. Then the teacher and the para would walk around and check to make sure the children were working. I also think that teachers can make sure that they are staying on task by walking around to make sure they are working. It is set up that the students put in a class code when they sign up so it is more organized for the teacher. The teacher I recently observed had her half circle desk directly behind the children and I noticed anytime she had them get on their computers she would work at this desk. I would set my classroom up like this that way even though I am not right there I can still see all of their computers every time I look up!
