         <description><![CDATA[<div>Model this strategy by creating the first word poster as a class. Present the word list and pre teach any new vocabulary. Be sure to explicitly go over the three steps of a word poster<br><strong>Steps:</strong><br>1: Students writes word<br>2. Student draws word<br>3. Student uses word in a sentence. <br><br>Once students have done this as a class they can begin to do them independently. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>This strategy uses various modalities such as writing and illustration to reinforce academic vocabulary. This particular strategy is useful for ELL students and students with disabilities since is uses visuals in order to enhance understanding of the words. It moves beyond just being able to recognize the word to also being able to use the word. This promotes fluency in meaning vocabulary. </div>]]></description>
