They will also find the answer to the question why plastic is used to produce other materials instead of, for example, wood.

On a website the students will upload some information  to deepen their knowledge about waste.

The basic terms the students will use are: waste, recycling, plastic, landfill site, recyclables and multiple packing use.

 

At school we will organize the plastic bottles collection, visits to places where waste is segregated. The students will also get to know how plastic is dealt with in their neighborhood.

We will organise competitions, eg. an art competition on the theme Life with plastic is not fantastic,  plastic re-use contest or bottle squashing contest.

We are going to organize an ecology feast for the local people, Clean Up the World Day and a drama play about ecology.

The students will also prepare leaflets and different brochures about being eco for their peers and local community members.

Apart from the permanent exhibition, the center also organizes temporary exhibitions on the subject of nature.

The exhibition also presents ecological pyramid, Polish Konik - a symbol of the park - and also Roztocze landscapes.

Volunteering also includes pro-ecological activities:

- collection of waste paper,

- collection of electro-waste;

- collection of plastic bottle caps.

In this way, we support the "Mission Africa" ​​campaign. Thanks to our support and participation in aid actions, a well was built, and the construction of solar panels is currently under preparation.

- visit to the Roztocze National Park (outdoor activity),

- participation in lessons on nature, nature protection, changes taking place in the world as a result of human activities at the Museum (scientific activity),

- cross-curricular activities on the environment and sustainable development,
- planting trees,

- integrating activities;

- the opportunity to get information about a new region, its history and natural conditions.
