Denis, Marco Polo, and Francis all obtained holy oil from jerusalem from the holy church. Denis and Francis absolutly loved it in Jerusalem because of how old and holy it was.

During Marco Polo's time, there were circle houses. The Townspeople were also excelent archers.For Denis and Francis they felt like they were in the 13th century with polo. And they absolutly loved it.

The local people didn't trust Marco because he arrived on a ship. Denis and Francis saw the ruins that marco polo prayed in and a lot of art from marcos time.

For Marco polo, The houses were hot and had no air getting into the houses there. For Denis And Francis, they were told it was an evil place and the soliders didn't know where The duo was from so that almost got them killed.

Afghanistan

While traveling through Afghanistan, Marco Polo was given a powerful patent that granted him anything he wanted and powerful soliders to guard him. Denis and Francis didn't have the patent but they had a note that was just as powerful. But Denis And Francis wanted to take the same route as Polo so they decided on walking through one of the most deadly areas with soliders guarding them, and almost got killed.

Persia/Uzbekistan

Marco Polo never had to forge a visa trying to get out of Persia and into Afghanistan. Denis and Francis were in the country for 3 weeks because no Americans have been in that country since 1975. And the Afghans made them forge their visa.
