These codes, however, stem from their Islamic beliefs, so they're difficult to rebel against without getting shade. While times have changed, it's still quite a big problem, and it's only made worse by the fact the government enforces it further.
Identically, women in America still have to deal with some idiots who don't realize that there really isn't a gap between the performance between women and men. This, however, is not as much as a problem as the moral code in Iran.
