I formed small balls and flattened them, then using the scratch + slip method to attach the circles. I used my pinch pot bowl to form a container shape which I made by pinching in all directions except the base, able to hold jewelry, etc. 
2. I got a separate piece of clay and formed it into a pinch bowl, then pinching with my fingers I flattened it out into a saucer/lid/ UFO shape.
3. I got more clay and formed 4 balls with them and then turned them into cylinders. I used a poker object to put a hole through the middle and pinched around the sides and made sure it wasn't thicker than my thumb in diameter.
