The book thief is a book that happens during the holocaust. It is about a girl who is known as the book thief because she has stolen books from different stops on their trains journey. The first one is called "the grave diggers handbook.¨ The book has a very good story line and has a ton of foreshadowing and flash forwards and flashbacks.  The main character who is named Liesel Meminger a young girl who is experiencing WW ll and is finding solace in herself by stealing books and is hidden by her adoptive parents.
