I am a great leader! I relate to my team and I stay humble in my position. I learn right along side of them any chance I get. We grow together and have worked so hard to build a foundation to be proud of. Money comes and goes but a solid, respected, seen, loved team builds a thriving business and work family

My main goal is to expand and grow further than my expectation.

I tend to be very hard on myself so filling this out was a bit difficult for me. I would say my strengths are working side-by-side with staff, fostering trust, and challenging staff to do their best.

My goal is to encourage staff to show empathy to others. I think that as we get stressed and tired this shows less and as we know, we are all stressed and tired. So my goal is to be more encouraging in this area.

-I feel I work side by side with the staff. If I'm not willing to do a job how can i expect the staff to do it.

-I encourage staff to compensate for others weakness. I always say we ALL have strengths and weakness we just have to take the time to discover and admit what they are.

I'd like to do better at finding staffs personal motivators "love languages" then reward in that manner.

spend more time in the rooms, not just a quick check in.

I work side by side with staff as needed. We are located on a school campus and are a small center. I am the director and vpk teacher. I have two staff. One whom works with me in vpk and the other in the 2-3 year old class. I pop in to make sure things are ok with her and have a relationship with her kids and parents as well. If they need me they know i will hop in and do whatever needs to be done to assist them. Although I am the lead teacher, my co teacher never feels like an assistant. I tried her equally!

I am also always challenging them to do their best or to set a goal to be better than you are today, yesterday etc. What I mean by this is when we talk about things or challenges in the classroom, I ask them to dig a little deep, see what could have been done better to change a situation. When classes are available in the areas they struggle with, I print the information to pass to them and I recommend taking those courses. It’s optional, I just want to see everyone do great m!
