My three goals for math this term is to get a term mark higher than B, to understand my topics, and to learn how to apply what I've learned in my life.

The evidence that I am making progress are my quizzes that have been documented in my folder.

I plan to achieve my goal by properly managing my time and working harder everyday. I can support myself by motivating myself to become better than yesterday.

These goals are important to me because I want to prove to myself that I am improving everyday.

It will take me the whole 1st term to achieve these goals.

One of the most difficult tasks in Math is our cerebry. In my opinion this is very difficult because it takes a lot of time to finish and can ruin my mindset when I get stuck in a question. Another part of cerebry that makes it difficult is the lessening of percentage you get when you make a mistake. I can deal with this by keeping my composure and taking my time in understanding what I got wrong.

One of my best work is the Long Test #3. This is because I got to recover from my mistakes using the short quiz we had to add more points to our score. I may have gotten a low score but I see this as my best work because of how quick I got to understand my mistake after the test. This taught me the importance of realizing your mistakes can help you with an upcoming problem.

A collaborative activity that I had was the Wrecktangles Activity. We got to choose a partner for this activity and I did this with Joab Manaysay. This taught me the importance of chemistry so that it is easy to answer the questions accurately and quickly. In this activity I did the solutions while Joab did the cutting of the paper. With our speed, we got to finish this activity. I think that we could have improved this by being more efficient.

A mistake that I got on Long Test #3 Part II #6 was because of my brain overthinking. I was having doubts that the equation for the perimeter would be different. I kept telling myself that since I haven't encountered any word problem like this before, I forced myself to still put the equation 2L+2W=P. I addressed this mistake by telling myself that not every problem that I have encountered can be solved using what I know, I have to be creative and think outside the box to understand it more and answer it correctly.
