Adding shapes in CANVA

Select the Elements option
Select the See all option to see all the shapes
Click the shape you want to use and it will appear on your page
You can alter it by click/hold/dragging one of the corners or sides

Adding text to your design

Select the Text option in the left menu
You can add a heading for a large text
Medium text is called subheading
Body text is the smallest
The font can be changed from the top menu bar
You can change the size of text by grabbing a corner or side OR can be changed in the top menu bar
The color can be changed from the top menu bar

Select this section for the ELEMENTS project

Your design will be in your Downloads folder on your computer

TURN IN

Open the TURN IN and scroll over to your name. Click the + under your name and then select the Green button on the left to upload your design. It will be in the Downloads file.

Select PDF Standard

Select the File Type box
Select PDF Standard
Select the Download

Find the Downloads folder and look under the days date to find your project to upload

Once your design is uploaded, Label your design POSTER and Post to turn in

Introduce yourself!

Size:

Landscape 5:4 OR Portrait 4:5

On your poster you will need:

Your name
5 images found on the internet of things you like or like to do (copy & paste or drag & drop into CANVA)
Describe your images - 1 complete sentence for each image.
Add an interesting design/border to your poster.
Make sure your lettering is large enough to be readable.
