For example, Yeat's gyres. He's the only one to utilize them has a symbol, using them to embody opposing historical or philosophical or spirtitual forces. He has many symbols and metaphors that are in no other form of literature.

Demonstration of how anything can be used as a symbol. The flea is used to show the mixing of blood between 2 bodies and how nobody feels that it is significant from day to day.
