One way to prepare the students is to refer to these professionals as our Guest Teachers. This change in title helps remind the student that people are a guest in our house, and they are in fact, teachers.

Guest Teacher basket:  While renting various homes over the years for travel, I learned it is the little things and details that made me want to return. I want my Guest Teachers to know I appreciate their time and want to create a small basket for supplies for my Guest Teachers. This will include some granola bars, tea bags/KCups, a small hand sanitizer and a hand-written thank you card.
