Early Childhood teachers using iPads may choose to print out ClassLink QuickCards for their students, to make it easier to login to ClassLink from an iPad. However, from Waterford’s past suggestions, we have been encouraging teachers to have students log in directly to the Waterford app from their iPad with their Waterford QR code.

 

When students and teachers login to ClassLink, they will see the Waterford app on their ClassLink Launchpad (see circled image of app in Launchpad screenshot below).

A couple of tips:

1) Anytime you have a new student enroll, a course will need to be assigned.


2) The required courses for APS students are Reading and Math/Science. Math/Science is set for a minimum of 12 minutes a day/5 days a week. SmartStart and Reading is set for 15 minutes a day/5 days a week.


In general, SmartStart is recommended for 3-year old students, DPC students, or students needing a more exposure-based type of learning.
