The use of pinks and reds evokes a sense of drama which is contrasted with the grays and blues creating an imbalanced effect. The layering of paint and colours draws the viewers eye and asked them to look closer. Upon viewing the piece in a little more detail we find many more shades than we initially observed. The coloured are placed on the canvas in block- like sweeps of Paint. Thus creating an interesting piece that makes the viewer think and teaches the viewer to look closer.
