Source A does not support with the statement about the Korean war was more of a civil war than a proxy war. Source A shows me a Chinese poster on the Korean war in 1950. this means that this a bias source as the Chinese supported the North Korea. the picture shows a US bomb that is being dropped on china. And the US is siding with the South Korea. It also showed General MacArthur holding a blood-stained knife killing innocent Chinese children. This tells me that this is more of a proxy war than a civil war as the US is helping the South Korea and the Chinese is helping the North Korea. therefore, Source A does not agree with the statement.

Source B does not agree with the statement about how the Korean war was more of a civil war than a proxy war. Source B like Source A is a bias source because it is adapted from a speech by President Truman on June 27th 1950 to congress. source B states " This attack on South Korea has made it clear beyond all doubt that the International Communist movement is willing to use armed invasion to conquer independent nations. " this tells me that the Soviet Union is the reason why the war started because they used armed invasion to conquer independent nations. As they started the International Communist movement. Therefore Source B does not agree with the statement.

Source C does support the statement about whether the Korean war was more of a civil war than a proxy war. I can infer from Source C that Syngman Rhee needed help from the USA to end the war. Source C states " He simply needed USA to provide the tools and the South Koreans would do the rest. " this tells me that they needed the aid of the USA to help them in assuring that it was time to bury communism once and for all. Therefore, Source C agrees with the statement.

Source D does support the statement about whether the Korean war was more of a civil war than a proxy war. Source D tells me that they needed help from China. Source D states that " Kim ll Sung played a very significant role in the Korean war and that role was to convince his allies, the Soviet Union and China, to support an attack by the North Korea on the South. This tells me that this is a civil war as they needed help from China to work with them. Therefore, Source D agrees with the statement.

Source E does not support the statement in whether the Korean war was more of a civil war than a proxy war. Source E is an extract from American leaflets targeted at North Korean soldiers. The picture shows me China is making use of the North Korea just like a farmer and a bull under the influence of the Soviet Union. This means that the Soviet Union is making use of China to do the dirty job on the North Korea as they want to spread communism. Therefore, Source E does not agree with the statement as it is more of a proxy war than a civil war.
