🌍 SustainLab Teachers’ Meeting 🌿

We are happy to announce that we held our first SustainLab teachers’ meeting on October 6, 2025!

During the meeting, partners from Türkiye, Georgia, and Tunisia came together to share ideas, plan activities, and discuss collaboration for the upcoming months. It was a productive and inspiring start to our sustainability journey! 💡

SustainLab encourages students aged 10–16 to explore the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through creative, digital, and collaborative work. The project helps students develop critical thinking, teamwork, media literacy, and digital skills while understanding their role in creating a sustainable future.

As Bağlıca Anatolian High School, we are proud to be one of the founding partners of this meaningful project. Our teachers, Meryem Örük and Leyla Çinici, will guide our students throughout the process, supporting them in becoming responsible and creative global citizens. 🌱

In today’s online meeting, we discussed important topics related to our project process. The exchange of ideas was very productive, and we developed a shared vision focused on sustainability. The participants’ active involvement and spirit of collaboration gave confidence that our project will progress successfully.
At the end of the meeting, everyone’s motivation increased, which further strengthened our belief in our common goal.

It was the first online meeting between partner schools, where we had the opportunity to get to know each other and establish communication. During the meeting, we shared the future plans of the project and became familiar with the roles and responsibilities of each participant. The meeting was interesting, informative, and productive.

We held so interesting meeting, the students shared the presentation, gender equality ensures equal rights, opportunities, and responsibilities for all genders. It addresses disparities in education, healthcare, employment, and political representation. Achieving gender equality empowers communities, drives economic growth, and promotes social justice. Progress requires dismantling systemic barriers, changing cultural norms, and implementing inclusive policies worldwide.
