Mark: Yes, in my free time. I really like surfing the internet. When I get home from school, I turn on my computer wait until it boots up completely and then I go online.

Interviewer: What about you Cathy?

Cathy: I don't spend much time surfing the web. Only when I need to. I have used the internet for some projects and homework assignments for revision for my GESs. And that was really useful to be able to get online answers. I found that incredibly helpful but you might have to trail through hundreds of sites until you find an actually relevant site.

Interviewer: So, do you think the internet is a useful tool for students?

Mark: Yes, of course. It’s useful for anyone. The existence of the internet has vastly changed the way in which people search for and access information. News travel more quickly than ever, trade offers are discussed all over the world, instantaneously, by forums, blogs and social networks.

Interviewer: Now there’s the question about social networks. How long do you spend on social networking sites every week?

Mark: Longer than I should. I have to confess that I check my account every day. I chat with my classmates and friends almost every day. I have lots of friends, but I don’t accept just anyone to be my friend. It has to be someone that I know and trust.

Interviewer: What about you Cathy?

Cathy: I’ve opened an account, but I don’t use it that much. I don’t like virtual friends. Many friends on the social networking sites aren’t really friends. They are people you’ve met through other people for 5 minutes at a party and than they share everything online. They post photos, and everyone is trying to look so cool

in their photos. And it is so fake from what they really are. Everyone wants you to think they are having a great time and are so happy. Ridiculous!

Interviewer: Wow! It’s seems that you don’t really like social networks! Or don’t like them at all.
In my point of view this text discusses about a very present thing in everyone's day The Internet and shows the opionon of each teen, i personally agree with both, the internet can provide a lot of useful information, but we also Cannot overestimate it.
