Did you know that in the sky it might look peaceful but actually hurtling through at incredible speeds, sometimes at thousands and thousands miles per hour. Also, whenit is summer in North America the sun is sending light that is more direct to the northern hemisphere because the northern hemisphere is tilted toward the sun.
Then, the Earth moves around the sun in an elliptical orbit( that means that it is not perfectly circular and is more like an oval.)
And what is also means is that in some parts of the year we are actually closer to the sun by just a few million miles and we are close enough in fact to have some big climate changes during those parts of the year. did you know the farther north or south you live the cooler the temperatures are going to be all year long. If you put a flashlight up to an orange than it depends on where you are standing to be able to see something.</title>

Have you ever went outside during the night and looked up at all of the stars and the moon and thought it&#39;s so quiet up there, but maybe there&#39;s life up there? (The whole life thing is besides the point of this text.) If you think it&#39;s all silent and still up there, you&#39;re wrong! There are all kinds of stuff moving around up there. And at high speeds, too! There&#39;s stillness to the stars, but there are all kinds of stuff like meteors (space rocks), metal scrap from satellites and millions of planets in millions of different galaxies. (There is more to the universe than you think, THERE ARE SO MANY GALAXIES!) Now join the journey to the knowledge of space!</title>

Have you ever walked outside at night, looked
up at the sky and thought that it is just so still and quiet up there that there was nothing going on? If you did, you are wrong. There are all kinds of stuff moving around up in outer space! There are meteors, lost bits of old satellites, and even millions of planets in millions of galaxies! If you wish to learn more, read on. There is no more of this passage, but there is plenty more information in Science Studies Weekly.</title>
