I think the most adventurous things are climb a hill you can see from your city, take a trip to an island. The least adventurous things are sleep in your backyard for a night, choose a river and travel to its source, travel to the beach and sleep there for a night. I like adventures that include leisurely hikes to unfamiliar places, but I'm not a fan of adventures that involve water or sleeping outdoors.
