I think you shouldn't waste wacky looking fruits for example if someone who has a mom/dad that's a farmer and the farmer parent gives them their favorite veggie which is a carrot and it looks like scissors and the kid says this "EW EW EWWWW get that away from me gross!" that might hurt the farmer parent's feelings :(.
