I looked forward to this class every week! Your responsiveness was amazing, and I really appreciate the time and energy you spent to guide us in learning this extremely useful material. I especially appreciated being able to talk to and learn from my classmates personal experiences during our class. In addition, I thought the real world stories and experiences you shared brought the theory into practice. Also I have fond memories of the "in regard to" vs "with regards" authentic assessment. Thank You Professor D!

Not only did I learn so many helpful tips to bring into my classroom, I met a bunch of inspiring colleagues. I would recommend this class (and professor!) to anyone who wants to equip themselves with the appropriate tools to become an effective teacher. This class was my rock this semester. The way you utilized small group discussions and gave us the space to talk and learn from one another made this experience very special. I didn't know what to expect from this class and it was the first time I was in a class that wasn't my tiny little specialty cohort so I was both nervous and excited. And it was definitely worth getting excited about. I really look forward to Mondays. I've been so impressed with how you get us talking and connecting, especially in this clunky online universe. You were kind and helpful but also clear and focused on instruction when needed, and I appreciated when you allowed us time off topic, too, as needed! Thank you for your time and effort and for a really great experience. I talk about this class all the time with my family and in my other classes so it's definitely making an impact on my scattered brain!! Have a great summer. This is Annie, by the way. I want to say thank you for a great semester! Although we were never able to meet, this class has been one among the very few I look forward to, even on a Monday! haha! I sincerely hope that you are able to catch a breath after this long semester, from the global to the personal, you deserve to enjoy time to doing something you love! (That isn’t related to work!) This class being the second of my 3-hour classes on Mondays, I was expecting this class to be a bit of a slow drag. But your teaching style and passion has helped me stay engaged and learn more than I ever thought I could in this class. Thank you for being so kind and compassionate, and allowing us to learn the material, but also for letting us learn from each other and our stories. For me, that is the most effective way we can ever learn, so thank you for that. I wish you the best of luck in the future and keep up the good work.

Thank you so much for a wonderful semester! Some of the most valuable lessons I have learned throughout this education program have come from this class; certainly one of the more important courses I have ever taken. I always felt that all of our discussions and assignments had a specific and significant purpose, and were not simply busy work, which is why I always enjoyed coming to class. It truly did bring me a lot of light to my Monday night, and I will miss it! Thank you for everything, professor!
