His Call to Adventure was when his father disappeared, and he retrieved his younger brother, Sam, to help him find their dad. Dean had to Cross Thresholds by convincing Sam to hunt with him and try to find their father. Their Trials were tracking down their father whilst hunting down the demon that killed their mother.
