One photo has captured my eye and so has the artist statement, which goes by the title, "A Swipe of Natural".

It was by a student named Amaya Velez. According to her, her photo was entitled, "Happy Things" when she found it in the sea of internet.

I found it quite interesting and it's left me thinking about how people in general try to look attractive for others and they're not happy about their natural appearance.

The picture depicts a state of artistry; a girl with most part of her face filled with makeup while a swipe of it shows her natural features.

In a way, it makes you think deep that you don't exactly have to give pleasure to people. It is not your job. In fact, it's no one's job to have to give in their soul to something displeasing.

You may be authentic and be filled with bliss about it. You don't have to be so difficult on yourself.
