It's the diversity of the role that makes it so interesting.

Do- Equally my group appointed themselves for what role they wanted to choose however for example some wanted to do editing and filming and I suggested why not share roles, it actually makes the roles easier to be shared and there is a big variety of different types of great work.

As I have not been in recent classes they have caught me up to what were doing mentally; I feel ready and confident on this project.

Do- In completing tasks we have been doing it as a a group in which it gets done quicker and we have a variety of different opinions and ideas which is great and inspiring. The barriers I faced originally was choosing a job role however I suggested to the group rather than designating a certain role to someone who isn't confident or too certain and may want to do something else; we can share jobs.

Show- I personally have no physical evidence of our current work as I do not possess a copy however I can photocopy and take a picture and post on here at some point.

By engaging with my group I personally find it easier to find where we are all at with our work and what we can all do to make everyone's job roles easier; keeping each other up to speed with our work amount. I did some research about smoke bombs in which I now know we need to ask permission if we was to do it at a public field. By doing my Pre-production portfolio widened my knowledge of my role and everyone else's in my group. Do - I think new skills that I applied was leadership, sometimes in a group I feel sometimes you have to take lead in order to organise your group and make things clearer than what it may seem. Barriers I faced was trying to get the whole groups attention and recognition however I think we are all on track.

Improve - Improvements I need to make is looking back at previous work; making sure its of high quality. Skills that I have used is initiative, communication, motivation,  positivity and creativeness. I aim to apply these skills in my next work session.

I feel more confident in knowing what to do in detail but in a simpler form; this is seen at the bottom of this post. Yesterdays activity had pros and cons; my group and I went to possible destinations of where we are going to shoot and to assess if the location was appropriate. However I tried to contribute ideas which seemed to get thrown back in my face therefore I am just going to allow my group to make decisions and I will do my role (Editor).

Do - Skills I have applied is patience and determination, I am going to focus on my part of the project allowing me to make my work of a high quality. I took pictures and a video of the surrounding area of our potential recording location. The pictures are below this post however the video would not post. I'm proud of the initiative I have taken for my role, offering my ideas on how to edit the video/ how it could look however we had been given the storyboard and write out of what our video was going to look like by a member without discussion however agree to disagree.

Improve - To improve I think I could possibly have a meeting with my group in which we all agree where we are at with our work and designate what were doing on certain days to make sure it actually happens. Skills I need to reinforce is communication, enthusiasm and be affirmative in my next session with my group.

I have become more confident with editing and putting together the video from yesterdays session with Dave, he helped me massively and the group. Therefore my editing skills have improved and also my communication skills with the group. I gave constructive criticism to the group as well as them doing the same in which we are now at a point where we are on our way to completing our video.

Do - New skills I applied yesterday was for editing, had had fun with Anna playing around with the software and looking at all the different effects we could use on the video once its finished. Barriers I originally faced was how to approach how to start editing however I feel a lot more confident now. I am proud of how our group has eventually come together and all chipping in and helping and sharing roles. Also I made a risk assessment sheet as well as an equipment usage sheet. Improve - This week I applied skills that I said I would last week, I feel like that why I feel confident and enthusiastic towards this task. To improve I think each individual from our group needs to focus on what needs to get completed; the video and effects (me and Anna) however everyone can have a look once we've finished and decide on as a group what it needs and if anything needs to be changed. I feel more comfortable and confident with editing and am looking forward to it. I will apply all the appropriate skills for each task and for next lesson.

My group have had previous meetings I am guessing therefore a new meeting is pending. I made the first move in the group in throwing in ideas and deciding what the first couple shots should consist of. I missed Dave's workshop on sound however I have read the PowerPoint that he used that day, this is seen underneath.

Do - I have applied initiative when I have been in lesson, due to lack of communication in my group. My group is okay, we all work individually however we all know where we are all working at and independently get on with our work although our communication could be a lot stronger.

Improve - Improvements I need to make is the consistency of my work and the quality of it. Also try and get the groups communication to be a lot stronger as communication is key. The lesson with Dave yesterday went really well I think, when I ask for help or guidance he has explained things step by step in which has assured me. I now know how to do certain edits on Premiere Pro and how to fade shots in and out. Also I have done and excessive amount of filming, added with a few of Natasha filming we have a substantial amount of film to work with which is perfect.

Do - I have applied existing skills, initiative; giving the group guidance of what we are doing and how I think we should embark upon tasks. I have made many suggestions in the group as I think the obstacles within our group root from lack of interest and communication , although we have recently had a meeting to diffuse any type of negativity and to discuss each step of what we are doing. I am proud of taking leadership in the group in order to give the group order. I felt as though individuals wanted to be told what to do and have a lack of common sense and initiative which I think is standard.

Improve - Improvements I need to work on is consistency through out my work but of a high quality, I want to push myself further to get a merit at least in all my projects. I have pretty much use the same skills however I have improved even more upon them skills I personally think. I have planned out everything so that we are prepared and not in panic mode in hoping that the group would feel at ease and know that everything is under control. Know - By trial and error using Premiere Pro has made m e learn from mistakes in which I feel as though I have taught myself how to use the software, as well as additional help from Dave. I know how to edit better and know what time of effects and transitions work best between different shotas.

Do - Again I have used initiative and capability to perform and follow through tasks. Barriers I faced compared to last week are minor, little obstructions were in my way however I overcome them; having problems with Premiere Pro. Also obstacles we faced in the group was our communication however that has improved drastically.
