I enjoyed creating the persuasive text and even though I'm not too keen on presenting, although being able to present a seminar with a topic I am passionate about, makes me comfortable.
2. Mrs Davies does an absolutely amazing job teaching and helping us understand topics. She has helped me enjoy learning English and she guides us to success. I am very grateful to have her as my teacher.
3. Mrs Davies' classes are very informative and advise everyone on each aspect that is needed for the task. Her feedback is wonderful and I believe her compassion for each student and her help is what has guided me to succeed in GEN so far.
4. Right now I don't want anything to change. I love her teaching style and because of it, classes are very productive.

I enjoyed the freedom to talk about a subject I am invested in, and I discovered that writing a persuasive speech can be fun.
2. Mrs Davies has been probably the most engaging and helpful teacher I could have. Every lesson is interesting and feels like it lasts only 5 minutes and I am excited to get taught by her in the future.

Overall, the task seemed quite clear, and once starting the task, it was not as overwhelming as it appeared. 
2. Mrs Davies is a great teacher, and I love the handouts and other helpful information she gives us. However, I feel like we spend too much time discussing things at the start of class. I also feel like we do not get enough time to work on class assignments.
3. The availability of Mrs Davies is a great help. However, English became the only subject I worked on, and I felt like there was too much to do at home. It is hard to balance the load of schoolwork with work, sports and trying to remain social. 
4. I would like to see more class time for assignments to reduce the stress of balancing the many things I do outside of school. I would also like to start the class work sooner in the lesson.

2. Mrs Davies' performance allows each student to do their best. The best intentions are at heart and is clearly shown in everything she does.
3. Something that has helped me succeed in this assessment was when we were given the A samples, this set a guideline of what is expected at a high level so that I can strive to aim for an aim.
4. For future times it would be good to have some constructive criticism that highlights what is good in the assessment. But the direct and straightforward feedback really works! Also to have more class time allocated to completing the assessment.

2. Mrs Davies has done really well, giving great, direct feedback and drafting. Creating deadlines, keeping us on the right track. 
3. My success in GEN so far is because of the created deadlines, and breaking the assignment down into smaller sections rather than it all at once. 
4. In the future, it would to great to get class time to work on assignments, as well as more inclusive activities as a group, building relationships with each other.

3. In future, I think it would be helpful to review some Year 12 Learning Journal examples so we know how to construct it with the correct formatting.

That was rather daunting and so I found I spent a lot of time working on English as a result. I liked the freedom we were given to choose any topic and filming and editing is very different to presenting in front of a class and so I both love and dislike it.
2.       I love how passionate you are about English and I don’t mind your teaching style. I did not like going through the ISMG just before the assessment was due, I understand that you don’t want us to check the boxes but to pass we actually need to do that. You going through the ISMG was extremely helpful however we had all already written our assessments.
3.       All the support we are offered at GLAD and through conferencing has been really helpful!
4.       Can we PLEASE have silence while we read!? We are supposed to have 10 minutes to read and there is noise almost the entire time. I know that many students do not read the school novels and so if they have no class time to read then their performance is impacted. I really enjoy reading at the start of each class and it is super distracting having the roll taken in the middle of the ten minutes.

So far FIA1 has gone a lot smoother than I thought, with all other assignments and commitments outside of school I didn't believe I would have been able to keep on top of it.
2. Mrs Davies is a fantastic teacher who is a bit of a know it all however this allows each and every one of us to perform at our best. With her knowing everything it allows our feedback and criticism whether spoken or written to be highly understandable and straight forward.
3. The feedback and availability to help us was amazing as if we were ever stuck or needed a second opinion it would take no longer than five minute, and we would leave with more answers than just our original question.
