I probably didn't realize what kind of education I was getting when I went through it myself. However, after reading Hooks and Freire's articles, I began to have my own awareness. 

Banking-concept education has some advantages. Students will receive almost the most knowledge under this kind of education, provided that the students themselves are interested in the subject.

Teaching with Love is my favorite education system. A loving teacher can bring problems to light by getting students to share things voluntarily. In my opinion, Ms. Wenjuan knows me better than my parents, because there are some things I would rather tell her than my parents. It's not that she loves me more than my parents, but she can give me the right advice, or ask me some life questions that set me thinking deeply. As mentioned in Hooks' article, teaching with love can trigger students' own independent thinking rather than treating students as containers as Freire mentioned in banking-Concept Education.

This kind of love is not coddling, it is objective and real. It's important to have this kind of teacher in your life.
