You are teaching English to Zaniah, a Syrian refugee who is married with two young children. She has been having one to one classes with you for six weeks for one hour each week. One day Zaniah texts when the class is supposed to start, to say she cannot make the class as her husband has returned home and does not want her to come. When you next meet Zaniah explains that her husband does not like her learning English.  The following week Zaniah texts to say she does not have the fare to come to her lesson.

One of the restaurant owners has the same family name as a client of Asylum Welcome and comes from the same country.
