Might be why some teachers are not presenting engaging lessons. The schedule of class after class and then duty 4 days out of 5 is hectic. Maybe if each grade level had a 'physical activity' as part of the daily routine that might help (PE/math games, music/dance). Years ago, I made my son sign up for 1/2 day summer school to get physical activity. Course was advertised as 'team sports'.
