They went from a society that was agricultural and resource based to being industrialized and more populated. For example from 1870 to 1916 population growth more than doubled from 40 million to 100 million. Industrialization was mostly in the north but soon expanded farther<br>Effect: People started doing factory work and many people flocked to the cities and the population density increased<br>Technology: The Cotton Gin started to industrial revolution in the United States. The Bessemer process is also another invention of the industrial revolution that helped during the progress of industrialization with a faster way to manufacture steel</div>]]></description>
