Okay where do I begin?? You are an incredible educator!! You connect with students in ways that make them feel seen, empowered, and capable. It was a true joy and HONOR to be on team 7g with you and THEN get to co-teach with you (suuuuper briefly). I've already seen this on other posts but every day in your class made me want to be an ELA teacher even more because of how much humor and passion you brought to your work. The kids LOVE you (duh and also tbt to Yale :')) because of the community you build with every group you teach. There's too much I could even say in one post - you're THE BEST!!!! <3 Zoe

Teacher of the year, now lion of the week?!?! Please stop your excellence train. You're too good of a teacher and show too many of our core values - from teaching 7th and 8th grade ELA to maintaining amazing relationships with 2024 to being an incredible lead planner and mentor. It's really hurting my sense of self and I'd like to center myself on this padlet. Thanks.

When I think about what I've learned from teaching over the past two years, so much of it comes from you! You make kids feel comfortable and included with your weird sense of humor and tendancy to insult me. You always put kids first and the kids are crazy about you. Sometimes I wonder why kids like you so much and then I come to class with you and I remember. You have supported me both as a teacher and as a friend and I am deeply appreciative of that. There's a lot more I can say but I'll just bother you with texts because you love that. - LBA
