As a future teacher, I want to use Kahoot because it’s an engaging and interactive tool that makes learning fun for students. It encourages participation from everyone, including those who might be shy to speak up in class. I love how it can be used to review content, check for understanding, and energize the classroom with a bit of friendly competition. Kahoot also gives me quick feedback on what students are grasping and where they might need more support. It’s a great way to combine technology and learning in a way that feels exciting and meaningful for students.

4o

For English language learners, this format supports repetition, comprehension, and confidence-building in a low-pressure environment. You can create custom question sets to practice vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, or listening skills. Because Gimkit gives instant feedback, students can learn from their mistakes as they play. Plus, its competitive, fast-paced nature keeps learners motivated and engaged. We can use it for a review, assessment, or just a fun brain break, Gimkit helps reinforce language concepts in a way that feels like a game, not work. That is why I think that my students would enjoy this platform because it offers something different and stimulating for them to use.

As a future TESL teacher, I would use Cult of Pedagogy because it offers practical, research-based strategies that can be easily adapted for English language learners. Although the website is not specifically focused on TESL, many of the teaching approaches—such as scaffolding, formative assessment, and classroom management—are highly relevant for supporting language development. The blog and podcast often explore ways to create inclusive, student-centered learning environments, which is essential when working with multilingual learners. In addition, the site provides resources on culturally responsive teaching and differentiation, helping me meet the diverse needs of my students. Overall, Cult of Pedagogy would help me grow as a reflective, innovative educator who is always looking for ways to better support my students’ language and academic growth.
