         <description><![CDATA[<div>This isn't guaranteed to be true but, when Hitler was meeting with someone during WW2, he was looking at a picture and said that he owed the man in the picture his life. The story behind this is that during a battle against the allies, Hitler was injured and bringing other injured soldiers to friendly lines, this is when a man named Henry Tandy saw Hitler and aimed at him but, did not have it in him to shoot a injured man that is trying to save his fellow soldiers, so he let him go. During the time when Hitler was trying to gain the support of the German people he mentioned this event and said that god saved him for this purpose to take over the world and let him go to war</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>After many years of fighting this is when the German Government decided to have an armistice with the allies to negotiate a peace treaty. Even though the Germans still had the upper hand against the allies with extra land against the French and Britain, there was revolution at home and the German army was starting to mutiny, which means that they just didn't have the resources to continue the war so they decided to try and end the war right then and there.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The treaty of Versailles, the treaty that ended the war for good, the treaty was kind of based on Wilson's fourteen points but the French and the British wanted a little more. The French and British decided that they wanted to get payed back for what they had spent in the war. This was a massive price that they demanded but when the Germans disagreed everyone else decided to agree. In fact it was so large of an amount to pay the the German Government payed off the WW1 debt on September 29, 2010.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The league of nations, this is what Wilson had mentioned that all the nations should join ( of course the country that said it never joined). This was mainly made so that It could deal with international disputes. They would also come up with the Geneva convention that banned not humane weapons such as gas, and they also banned that it is a war crime to shoot a medic that is not shooting back or is helping an injured soldier (though the Japanese in the second world war decided they wouldn't follow this part of the Geneva convention). </div>]]></description>
