The artwork is about power abuse, hypocrisy, unethical behaviour and perfidy, where by showing the influence of other's bad behaviour to others living around them. In this case the others bad behaviour causing the kids to be sadistic which is shown in holding the decapitated cat and smiling.</div>]]></description>

The artist action in the artwork (destroying the mask) symbolize  power struggle, and the ambition to maintain their authority that leads to the act of violence, and the chair symbolize the authority. </div>]]></description>

Murniasih is an artist who worked in linear and figurative painting genres, who also explored contemporary themes of gender politics and place. She felt the depiction of sex was natural and saw no limit in her creative process. Murniasih described the body as "a kind of caricature that recorded and reflected her own personal experience, and which were direct responses to particular events including her experiences of travel."</div>]]></description>
