1) In the start of the Epilogue the character start talking about the tales and who has the best tale. The pardoner intervene and stated that we are in canterbury and that we should give tomorrow the truth and pray to God and that we can focus o out stories on the road back to Souuthwark.

2) In the Epilogue the character discuss what the best story was, and they decide that humor and morals make great stories. The text states," Humorous are very well," and another quote was," But we must consider value of the storys."

#1- They focus on the pilgrimage at the beginning of the epilogue when they get to Canterbury. Then they focus on the tales on the end when they vote because all of them had lessons and they were deciding which one was best. They were also talking about how they consider the Value of the storys and what they teach about life.

2- "but we must consider the VALUE of the stories. How much did they teach us about LIFE?" (McCaughrean, 111). The pilgrims are deciding based on what story has the best lesson and how much they taught them about life.

3- I think people still read this book because it has been changed over time. In the older days it was probably less humorous but nowadays it has been changed to more funny to get people to like the book more and to continue reading it.

4- Each tale is very unique and has there own plot but they do have some similarities like their lessons. They both also have some unique elements of the middle ages.

The Canterbury Tales focuses on the pilgrimage because since the journey would be long, every mile or so each person would share there own tale or story for entertainment.

The reason why the Canterbury Tales were very famous is because since the Canterbury Cathedral was a famous place, the tales of the pilgrims became known and so popular due to there entertainment.
