It also would be good in the classroom to teach children to say no to doing some of these bad things!

Her mom becomes a baseball player in the first professional women's league. Amy grows to support her mother and her new job despite not being so sure about it at the beginning. The oil paintings capture the story well and help to enhance the emotions. It is good for a young classroom as well to show them a deviation from the norms and help to normalize tomboys in a society where they are telling young girls how they should act.

His single mother works around the clock, and they both have been through hard times having to deal with his father. Ghost never thought his speed would amount to anything, until he saw the track team practicing.

In this book, Mem Fox explains how to read aloud in a way that you engage the child. Fox demonstrates how to read aloud and get the most out of it for you and the listener. Expressive reading is reading that is remembered. When you read to a child every day for at least 15 minutes, this helps the child learn to read faster. This is a better way for the child to learn to read, instead of by phonics, where she or he is sounding out the letters in the words. This book is great for any educator or parent to read so they can give their students/child the best experience.
