9 To 5 Mac: Making The Grade: Is macOS really less stable than it used to be?

https://9to5mac.com/2019/05/18/macos-stability/

Bradley Chambers

Subject: Whether or not the stability of the Mac OS has been increasing or decreasing.

Based on Chambers everyday to day use of Mac OS devices he would say that the stability itself is as good as it was “back in the Snow Leopard days”. This being said because we are always raising our expectations about what our new devices could do we tend to have a bias opinion on the operating system because we disregard what it can already do. If we look at how much MacOS has changes we can see that the development of the iPad, iCloud, iMessage, iCloud Photos, Apple Music, and Apple Watch have allowed a skyrocketing growth in the operating systems stability. With Apple’s key feature in its iOS 12 and MacOS Mojave updates, stability levels have never been higher. It allowed fewer features to come about but an astounding amount of bug fixes that resulted in this OS stability.

I would recommend it depending on the person, if I see that the person isn’t much into knowing about the Operating System of Apple products then I wouldn’t recommend it to them because they either wouldn’t understand of they wouldn’t care much about the information at hand. Yet, if they were Apple product fans or they enjoy learning about the Operating System of various products then I would recommend them to read it.

9to5Mac Reviews

https://9to5mac.com/guides/review/

The blog I reviewed was a post about the iPhone11 pro compared to the regular iPhone11. The new iPhone provides a variety of new features that many can enjoy at a premium price. This post was written by Jeff Benjamin where he goes in depth about whether its worth it or not to upgrade to the iPhone11 pro or is it better to just keep the iPhone11 without the upgrades. The iPhone11 pro first and foremost has a sleek finish with a stainless-steel outer coating which would be a lot harder to break the original glass back iPhone. The new iPhone11 has 3 cameras on the back and have a sleek size that fits all pocket sizes, but the iPhone11 pro on the other hand is a bit bulky and doesn’t as easily slip into your pockets as well as it not being very comfortable to hold with one hand. The iPhone11 pro also knocks brightness out of the park with not having a LED light system but an OLED light system that gives great contrast and add another level of brightness. The pro also has an outstanding ratio of 2000000:1 so the display is sleek and detailed. Another great feature the iPhone11 pro has is its wide shot feature and 2x optical zoom. The iPhone11 pro also connects all 3 cameras seamlessly as apposed to the regular only syncing 2 of these cameras. The pro also can jump between focal length without any delay which is great for close up shots to capture all the detail of the close up. The battery life is also much better than the regular iPhone11 and the phone only provide 64GB of storage but can be upgraded for $150 to 256GB of storage. In my opinion I wouldn’t buy either of these phone because they are grossly over priced despite all these features.

There is also new and improved encryption to keep personal information safe and secure. Some new features to this update include read-out-loud feature using the Lens in Google Go, as well as YouTube Go a platform for slower connections video viewing and a new photo gallery hosted by Google Photos. Since this new update more than 1,600 devices have been put out into the world in over 180 countries.

I would recommend this blog post to people because it explains the new update showing its effectiveness and new features in the light of proficiency. This update helps those who have a more difficult time reading signs or posters with the read aloud option as well as incorporating the entertainment factors like YouTube, something people use on the daily.

Gizmodo created a blogpost about the Windows 10 operating system which showcases all of the things you couldn’t do in Windows 8. It’s called “14 Things You Can Do in Windows 10 That You Couldn’t Do in Windows 8.” Found at gizmodo.com/14-things-you-can-do-in-windows-10-that-you-couldnt-do-1721271379 and made by David Nield, it’s packed full of amazing features that the newest of noobs to the strongest of power users can take advantage of. Cortana is smarter, windows can snap to the corners, storage space can be analyzed, and the wifi can be shared with friends, along with other features not seen in previous renditions of Windows. I would strongly recommend it to others to read, because a lot of these features can go unknown and forgotten. It’s there to be used, and this article lists 14 abilities from the blatantly obvious to the never-learned that will streamline the Windows 10 experience.

Also, he gives some good insight on what to expect after the update and recommendations if you should or shouldn't update your OS depending on how you use it. I learned that I probably shouldn't have updated my Mac and instead stayed with the version before, as there new problems/bugs that arise from said update. I recommend this article as mentioned previously that it brings helpful insight on what to expect pre/post update.

Danielle Hertz an Editor, G Suite Blog (Published Jul 26, 2019) discusses how the different ways to reboot your computer and how to fix troubleshoots with some simple steps. The subject of the blog post is about Android 10 and talking about it on Twitter. I learned that the Android 10 updates include different color enhancers, and can even allow you to bring up captions if you cannot physically hear what it is trying to say, and a lot of website and social medias are now open to use the captions as well. It also discusses the different types of privacy and security units that are updated in the different 5g usage of android products. In the other blog I received information about different ways to reboot computers, and gave their favorite ways to fix things to make it the simplest form. I would recommend others to read it because it gives you useful information to help you better understand Androids and the use of them. Also, gives you different tips when working with your computer to make things easier to use.
