         <description><![CDATA[<p>OVERVIEW:</p><p>The EtonHouse Community Fund (ECF) is an independent IPC charity started in 2015 to improve the lives of children and youth in Singapore. We were launched by EtonHouse International Education Group, a Group that runs more than 120 schools across 12 countries. Over the years, ECF has initiated a range of programmes and championed causes that have benefitted more than 17,000 children and youth from low-income families. We received the MSF Cares Award in 2019 and in 2020, and was commended by President Halimah Yacob for our initiatives to support the community during the Covid19 crisis. For more details visit <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="http://www.ecf.org.sg">www.ecf.org.sg</a></p><p>JOB DESCRIPTION: Summer Internship 2024</p><p>As an intern at EtonHouse Community Fund, you will work closely with the team across different functions to support the mission of ECF and gain valuable hands-on experience in the non-profit sector You can expect a rewarding internship working with a variety of stakeholders including community agencies, corporate partners, educational institutions as well as beneficiaies.</p><p>You will be exposed to event planning, fundraising and marketing and coordinating volunteer engagements and programs execution. You will enjoy flexible work schedule (for longer term internships) to accommodate academic commitments as well as a stipend for the duration of the internship.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><p>1. Provide support in organizing and coordinating ECF’s programs, volunteer activities and community events.</p><p>2. Assist in the planning and execution of fundraising events and campaigns.</p><p>3. Conduct findings on potential partners, donors/ sponsors, programs that are aligned to the mission</p><p>4. Participate in meetings with team members to brainstorm ideas and strategies for community outreach, impact creation and fundraising.</p><p>5. Support the development of marketing materials and social media content to promote ECF initiatives.</p><p>6. Assist with administrative tasks including correspondences and draft reports and presentations for stakeholders.</p><p>7. Assist in maintaining databases and ensuring accurate tracking and records keeping.</p><p>8. Contribute to other ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned by the supervisor</p><p><br></p><p><strong>PRE-REQUISITES:</strong></p><p>1. Year 2, 3 or 4 NUSC student</p><p>2. Passionate about social causes and making a positive impact in the community</p><p>3. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment</p><p>4.
