Social changes, as well as the reaction of surrounding people, can ultimately influence a change or modification in one's mental health. Some social changes (drugs, vaping, etc.) may lead to addictive behaviors that further influence and harm one's mental health. As our society changes, people may also change values and have more conflicts. Stereotypes that regard mental health can affect other people in the society, thus altering one's mental health negatively from the reactions of others.
