It's often hard to allow change to happen, especially when we need to learn new things and adapt, but I realize that change is inevitable and all we can do is accept it properly. Change happens and I handle it by letting go, and I often have an "it is what it is" mentality when dealing with it. I think the way we can practice this sacrifice this season but not only in the Lenten season is being willing to sacrifice the plan we have envisioned for ourself and be more open to the plan God has.
