Also she asked 
some  family members about the money in the tin box so Gloria will find information about the money and she never gave up and she did not stop persevering              
 In the text mile-high mystery the two girls show determination by looking up where mile high is at and where the owner lives and will probably going to return the dog to its owner after it stops snowing 
    In  both stories the main character(s) are persevering and will not stop until they find there answer.

So she asks she uncle Rogers he just figured that it was sewing stuff. And so Gloria was frustrated,but her determination was so powerful that she didn't wan't to give up! Now on our second story ''mile-high mystery ''My sister and I hear this eerie wail coming from outside. So they find this alone,sad,homeless dog and so they instead of them saying ''whatever'' and just shut the door on the little guy they acted to help him and find the owner and get him a better life then on in the ''Bitterly cold snow''. So they tried and tried,but even it got hard or it didn't work out ''I sigh,but I just couldn't give up. and the tried so hard they tried phone books, they tried asking so many animal clinics, and then.....  so then Gloria asked her mom to visit great-ant jean and her mom said yes.
so Gloria brought the chest to great-ant jeans house and showed her the money.
great-ant jean then explaind that the money in the chest was grandmas travel money because grandma didn't get the chance to use it to travel.
Gloria was proud of herself for finding out the awnser so they all went on vacation with the money to make grandma happy.

in MILE HIGH MYSTERY kids find a lost dog outside in the snow so they bring him inside and clean him up with a towel then they read his tag witch says... MILE HIGH the kids are DETERMEND to find the dogs home so they search the web for a animal clinic (vet) in the area with no success.
then they realize that Denver Colorado is nicknamed MILE HIGH! so the kids (now with their pearents) search Denver Colorado for a animal clinic (vet) and then they find one and call it imedetely and end up returning the dog (who's name is actualy rowling) home.
COMPARE
in both stories the main character has to dig deep to find an awnser to their question and they both have to recerch the internet to help find that awnser
CONTRAST
