'Effectively non-existent. The territory was under the oversight of the Sultanate of Johor, but Temasek's value as a trading hub was lost after it was sacked by the Majapahits in the 15th century. By the time Stanford Raffles arrived it was a backwater. Probably the only armed forces in the territory were the local chief's guards.

I also know that Singapore has a job where they do trading and the poorer ones fish for food or sell as they need to support for the family.
Now i know that Singapore have a weak defense we needed other country to help us defend our country like British needed to help,Malaysia needed to help to.
After all, I think Singapore is a country where it has a big history.
