A lot of US Citizens believe that we should remove the Electoral College. They want us the popular vote to be able to win, they feel as if their voice doesn't really matter because in the end, it's the people representing our state really voting for us. The electoral college is very beneficial and smart. It organizes us more, and if we didn't have it, voting season would become much more complex. Imagine if one little thing goes wrong? We would probably have to end up recounting votes. I honestly think that keeping the electoral college is beneficial in every way. They only deal with cases relating to the constitution. There's another proposal. To make younger people's vote count more than an older persons. Now, this is problematic but can also be beneficial. Not to be rude, but older people are closer to death than us younger people. It's our future, and I sometimes believe that our votes should still count. The other side to it, is that older people raised us, they want to have a good future and would feel bad if we didn't make their vote count. It is unfair, and also has it's cons but it also has pros. It would benefit us, the younger generation and help us choose a better future for ourselves.
