The Problem is... Thanksgiving Gone Wrong

When Lamar and his brothers have one job to put the Thanksgiving food in the oven, but they forgot one thing.

1 - They forget to put the food in the oven and the dogs eat it all the food
2 - They forget to remove the saran wrap and the food is covered in plastic
3 - They forget about the food and the oven catches on fire

Who is your audience (what type of people would go to this film? Be specific!)
The Audience is going to be my family, friends, and others who want to get a good laugh.


What is the important point this screenplay should make?
Even though Lamar and his brothers end up ruining the food they still mange to have a memorable Thanksgiving.


What do you want the audience to do and/or feel?
I want the audience to just laugh and feel good because this film is supposed to be a comedy.

Please describe a minimum of two characters using this guide.

LAMAR (AGE 15)  Lamar is an astonishing 6'2  235lb freshman at Skyline High School. He is the only freshman who starts on varsity football. Lamar hopes and dreams to be in the NFL one day. Football and Family are the most important things to Lamar. Lamar often gets distracted and often forgets the simple task like walking the dog and forgetting to lock the door. 

MOMMA (AGE 44) Momma is Lamar, Rico, Junior, and Lisa's mother. She is married to Lamar Sr. who is a firefighter. Momma is a hardworking woman who is a secretary for the state governor and loves to spend time with her children and her husband on the weekends. Momma is often busy and ask her children to help with the house and they mess up every once in while. Momma is also an amazing cook and cooks for 4 hours every Sunday to give her family an nice hearty meal every Sunday.

Why does this story matter to you? Why did you choose it?
This story matters to me because it seems like something that could happen to me and I choose it because I felt it was a good story that will promote a-lot of laughter


Why will your audience be interested in this?
My Audience will be interested because it is a family comedy and everyone loves to laugh.


How will you grab their attention?
I will grab there attention by making them laugh and . having lots of plot twist to continue to grab the views attention trying to get them to guess what could happen next.

Mr. Burr did a great job and gave a lot of great examples to help us make a great project showing he put as much time into his project as we did in ours. Most valuable thing I learned in mobile media was probably audio some of my videos were pretty bad but I think because I had great  audio the videos were great. I think my storytelling was pretty good I like telling stories and I watch a lot of movies so it’s pretty easy I think if I had a little bit more pages to write my story it would be a lot better but I gave my best work with the five pages I had.
