I really liked this book. I liked the fact I learned while also being entertained. In books that I have read it has been either informational or complete fiction. This book actually includes real information that made me interested in Egyptian history. It keeps your attention while teaching you the way of the early Egyptians. There wasn't anything that I disliked about the book. This is one of the very few books that I will always love. It keeps you wanting to read more. I think the most interesting thing about this book was the characters. Eventually you could tell that they were changing throughout the entire book. It was cool that you only had the perspectives of Sadie and Carter but you also get to see the change of other through them.

“Oh no." I said panic rising in my chest. "No, no, no, Somebody get a can opener. I've got a god in my head!!”

I like this quote because it was just so funny, but also gave a moment of realization for Sadie and the reader. This would change the course of the book

“It takes strength and courage to admit the truth.”

I like the quote because its a quote that can pertain to life. Admitting the truth shows that you don mind being wrong. It was also a quote that made you think a little bit harder.

Why are the scales broken?" I asked. Anubis frowned. "Ma'at is weakening. I've tried to fix them, but…" He spread his hands helplessly.

I liked this quote because it shows a sign of weakness. Not even the god of death can do things perfectly.

I chose this song as a representation of what Sadie and Carter went through. They had to be the host one of two of the most powerful beings in the history of Egyptian gods. They had to change a lot about themselves to handle it.
