-50% or more- you passed,
-less than 50%- you did not pass,
because students would learn  without any dissapointment at the end because they would know how much do they have to learn. Students should be graded for less subjects- everyone would have to be graded for 3 or 4 subjects, they are most talented at.
For example people who are more talented in science should be graded for chemistry, biology and physics.
And those who are more talented in languages and literature should be graded there.

That is my real short opinion,

In art class talented students will automatically get better grades than others, the same in P.E. and you can`t learn running and painting like you can learn Maths and Geography. Compulsory subjects should be based on knowledge and if you want you could pick optional subjects that are based on skills and practical things. I see grades as some confirmation, about how good my knowledge is in one of the subjects. If I don`t study enough my grades will show it. I think the best way to grade the students would be to not get any grades thourought the year, but there still should be homework and the teachers should make the lessons more fun. For example to teach you for 10 minutes and then a short pause in which you do something fun that is related to that subject. And at the end of the year there would be major exams that decide whether you pass the grade or not.

The students should act politely and respectfully towards the teachers and in return the teachers listen to them. As soon the students start to disrespect teachers the conversation is over. The teachers don`t need to put up with disrespect from students. If the students have a lot of problems with a subject, they should confront the teacher that teaches that subject and the teacher should try to explain it to them again. If the students still don`t understand then they should get a mentor. But there should be some optional subjects that focus on knowledge, skill or practical things. The timetables you get should be varied, so that we get used to different situations. I think that there should be never two language classes that are one after another. Same goes for classes regarding nature. There could be a language class after a nature class and then again a class about nature. And P.E. should come the last, because it normally makes you tired. That means if you have P.E early in the morning you can get tired and if you have the exam the same day, there is a high risk you couldn`t concentrate on it
