I heard about your loss via your close roomie from FB.

It strikes me how close you are to us, not someone we simply read about from the news.

Sure does make me see how fragile life is, that's why it's our present that matters.

It breaks my heart to know that my friend has passed in one of the most tragic accidents that anyone could have ever imagined. We will never know how your final moments were like on that plane but all we can do is that you rest in peace. Afif, you did not deserve this. Neither did your family nor the remaining passengers on MH17. I've lost two friends over the past year, and this year, a close third. I will always cherish the moments we've had during our time in FNBE.

When I heard the news about the plane around midnight, to be honest I was just surprised. But later that day, when I started seeing our friends and lecturers posting about you being on that plane, I thought there was something wrong with my eyes. Not long after that, there were articles and a notification from my dad's company about your dad, I then knew its all true. We weren't that close but those last week being in the same group as you for the final project made me feel like I know you. Idk... It's just so shocking that on that day itself I couldn't really think right,thus the short post on my wall. Afif, you can't be replaced. Love ya, bro. *brofist*

It is tragic how Malaysians have to go through yet another tragedy like this. I can't imagine how would it feel like to be on the plane. It is equally horrible for those who have lost their loved ones, mothers, fathers, families, colleagues, best friends, close friends, friends or children. Let's keep EVERYONE in our prayers and may God bless them. To our dear friend Afif, even though I have not met you, it is saddening to know that such an incident have happened to you. May all of Afif's family and friends stay strong throughout this tough time. My sincere and deepest condolences to all of you.

My heart breaks to confirm that you were on the plane. I couldn't accept the fact that I have lost a friend. Eventhough I don't really know you as a close friend but my tears is my deepest regret that if there is a chance for me to reverse time, I would have known you better. I pray for you and your family and also including everyone on the plane. May you rest in peace Afif

So sad to see wars happen between those great powers, and innocent ones fall victims to those greedy and selfish actions :( To all the victims and their loved ones, and Taylorian Mr Atif, rest in peace. I believe justice will be served one day. Have faith in humanity.
