Pharynx- Air moves down into it. Sometimes passageway is used for food.
Trachea- Leads from pharynx to lungs. Walls are made up of cartilage which keeps it from collapsing.
Nose- Air enters through nostrils. Lined with cilia and mucus keeping air warm and moist.
Bronchus- Air moves from trachea into left and right bronchi. Pharynx- The throat
Trachea- The windpipe
Diaphragm- A large dome shaped muscle that is important for breathing.
Larynx- voice box
Bronchi- The passages that branch from the trachea and direct air into the lungs.
